GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH Celebrates Topping-Out Ceremony in Mainz-Lerchenberg.

GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH, which was previously based in Mainz-Bretzenheim, is expanding. The new location is currently being built in Mainz-Lerchenberg. After laying the foundation stone in July 2022, the topping-out ceremony could now be celebrated.
On the 8,000 m² plot, 7,500 m² of space will be created for laboratory, office, and practice rooms. The project is being realized by KPE Projekt Lerchenberg GmbH, in which Karrié Projektentwicklung GmbH & Co. KG is involved in cooperation with Rahlfs Immobilien GmbH. The project is scheduled for completion in 2024.
Further settlements from the life science sector are planned in the immediate vicinity. "The biotech and life science sector is booming. Companies that are already based in Mainz and want to expand or want to settle here need adequate offers, otherwise they will move away or choose another location. The Lerchenberg area has the potential for another 75,000 m² of gross floor space for new settlements".
Dr. med. Patrik Zickgraf, Medical Director of GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH, sees his decision for the new location confirmed: "We already benefit from the proximity to biotechnology companies such as BioNTech, Böhringer, Merck and BASF today. It is all the more important that actions follow the words to expand Mainz as a biotechnology and medical technology hub. With its excellent transport links and planned and existing infrastructure, the site in the Lerchenberg area can make a contribution towards achieving this."
