A Modern Diagnostic Centre Is Being Built in Mainz-Lerchenberg
Press Release
Currently, a new diagnostic centre is being built by GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH on an 8,000 m² construction site in Mainz-Lerchenberg. Groundbreaking took place at the end of last year, and the new building is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in 2024. New laboratory, office, and practice rooms will be built on 7,000 m² of usable space. The new building will meet all criteria for a sustainable, energy- and resource-efficient building as a KfW Efficiency House 55.
For over 20 years, GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH has been a fixture in the medical diagnostics industry in Mainz. Starting out with just three employees, the company, which now operates internationally, has grown to a workforce of more than 380. "The premises in Mainz-Bretzenheim have become far too small, and we had to act urgently", explains Dr. med. Patrik Zickgraf, Medical Director of GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH.
The location in Mainz-Lerchenberg across from the ZDF Enterprises building now provides sufficient space for the growing workforce of the two laboratory partners, GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH and MVZ GANZIMMUN GmbH. Sufficient parking, direct access to the "Mainzelbahn" as well as the bicycle network and the highway ensure optimal accessibility for employees and visitors.
